- Being generous
- Showing friendship
Love helps to create a peaceful environment.
- Being patient when things are difficult
- Perseverance: knowing that we learn from our mistakes and if we keep going we can progress
- Making the most of our talents, building our confidence and self-belief
Wisdom often comes from reflecting on our experiences and learning lessons.
Being wise involves being able to look at situations from different points of view, understanding other people’s opinions and behaviour. It involves thinking about the consequences of our actions and whether they are harmful or helpful to ourselves and others. For example, if we work hard at school we are more likely be able to find a job that we enjoy when we are adults. If we treat each other well as children we are more likely to get on well with people when we are older.
Wisdom involves learning self-control, so we act skilfully and calmly in difficult situations.
Wisdom leads to fairness and justice.
Wisdom helps us to be thankful for what we have and helps us to show courage when are scared but want to do the right thing.
